A message from the President.
Dear Passengers, It is my great pleasure to announce that
Thai Airways International was voted top place for the efficiency
of our cabin attendants and the quality of our in-flight
catering. The results were revealed in a survey of passengers
traveling on Europe-Asia routes, carried out by the International
Air Transport Association(IATA) between October 1997 March
1998. In addition, Thais frequent flyer programme Royal
Orchid Plus ranked among the top three
most popular Frequent Flyer Programs for 1997 and was selected
as a winner of the prestigious Freddie
Award. On behalf of THAI, I would like to thank all passengers,
and specially our loyal ROP members whose constant
faith and trust have been the root of our success ever since
our programme was launched five year ago. Now ,thanks to
you, we have over 800,000 members in 190 countries worldwide.
It is my sincerest wish to reaffirm to
all of you, Thais commitment and determination to continue
to maintain and further improve services to best satisfy
all of our passengers. In order continue to provide the
best Smooth as Silk experience, we welcome any comments
and suggestions you might have on our services. We aim to
be the airline that comes first to the minds of passengers
whenever and wherever they wish to travel.
